No one ever consciously chooses to attract an entity. So why do they keep coming — and why do some of them stay for years?

Why entities keep finding you

You are not one single, unified consciousness. You are made up of many parts, and some of them got stuck along the way. An unhealed part of you is not just a feeling. It has its own vibration, its own beliefs and its own agenda, and it acts like a magnet.

These parts have a great deal of energetic power, and they use it. Day and night, they send out a psychic signal — I’m not safe. I’m alone. I have to hold everyone together. I need to get out of here. — and life answers that signal. It brings people, situations and moods that match it, whether or not they match what you consciously want.

Entities answer that signal too. In a sense, an entity is what a blocking idea looks like in energetic form: something that muddles, distorts or blocks your ability to create and attract. A part frozen in fear draws in what feeds on fear. A part that can’t say no lets in whatever asks. A part that checks out leaves your field unattended. Clear the entity and leave the part as it is, and the signal goes on calling the next one in.

The age a part gets stuck at

Each of these parts tends to freeze at the age it was wounded, and to go on running your life from that age.

If a part of you got stuck at 2 years old, then no matter how old you are now, that part is still having a 2-year-old’s tantrum: grabbing, refusing, panicking, demanding. If another got stuck at 15, it is still slamming the door on anyone who tries to help. Your energy field responds to that frozen age, not to the adult you have become.

In this clearing, we will find the parts of you that are calling entities in, clear the entities attached to them and the signal they have been sending, and bring those parts forward from the age they froze at, so that your field begins to reflect what you consciously want.

The parts that call entities in

Protective parts — they will let almost anything in if it promises safety

• The Protector forms when you were in danger and no one stepped in. Stuck at that age, it treats the world as if the danger never ended, and it will accept any presence that promises to guard you — including ones that are not on your side.

• The Controller forms when life was chaotic: a parent’s drinking, sudden moves, illness in the family. It grips, manages and braces, and that constant bracing sends out a signal that something is about to go wrong.

Parts with open boundaries — they cannot say no, to people or to energies

• The Pleaser and Caretaker forms when love or safety depended on keeping someone else okay. It takes on other people’s moods, cords and attachments as if they were its job.

• The Rescuer forms when a child was put in charge of an adult’s pain. It reaches into other people’s suffering to fix it, and brings home what it finds there.

Parts that punish

• The Inner Critic forms when the voice of a parent, teacher or religious authority became your own. It still enforces the rules of the age it formed at, and its harshness gives punishing energies a place to land.

Escapist parts — they leave the door open on the way out

• The Escape Artist forms when staying present was unbearable. It zones out, numbs, scrolls, drinks or drifts away, and while it is gone, your field is left unattended.

• The Inner Teenager forms around identity, belonging and the need to break free. Stuck at 14 or 15, it rejects help, chases intensity and draws in chaotic and addictive energies.

Parts frozen in an emotion

• The Grieving Part froze at the moment of a loss: a death, a divorce, a home left behind. Grief that never finished draws in energies that feed on sorrow.

• The Raging Part holds anger that was never allowed. Held down, it still radiates, and it draws in aggressive, combative energies.

• The Terrified Part froze in a moment of shock: an accident, an attack, a frightening night. Energies that feed on fear are drawn straight to it.

Parts from beyond this life

• Past-Life Selves are parts of you still living in another lifetime’s experience: the one punished for their power, the one bound by vows, the martyr. Their age is the age they were in that lifetime.

• Inherited Parts carry an ancestor’s fear or grief as if it were your own, often frozen at the age that ancestor was when they were wounded. They are open doors for ancestral entities.

• The Seeker Looking Outside Itself wants rescue or answers from somewhere above, and so opens the door to false guides and deceptive “higher beings.”
